Access to information
The principles of access to public information are governed by the provisions of the Act of 6 September 2001 on Access to Public Information.
Everyone has the right to access public information.
Public information is any information concerning public affairs.
The right to public information is subject to restrictions in scope and under the conditions set out in the provisions concerning the protection of classified information and the protection of other legally protected secrets, as well as on grounds of the privacy of natural persons and an entrepreneur’s trade secrets.
Public information that has not been made available in the Public Information Bulletin is provided upon request

Provision of public information upon request shall be made without undue delay, and no later than within 14 days from the date of submission of the request.
If public information cannot be made available within 14 days, the applicant shall be notified of the reasons for the delay and of the date on which the information will be provided, which shall not be later than 2 months from the date of submission of the request.
