Definition of small and medium enterprises (link to: Commission Regulation (EC) No. 800/2008 of August 6th, 2008)
A small enterprise - an enterprise which employs fewer than 50 people and whose annual turnover and/or annual balance sheet total does not exceed EUR 10 million.
A medium enterprise - an enterprise which employs fewer than 250 people and whose annual turnover does not exceed EUR 50 million and/or annual balance sheet total does not exceed EUR 43 million.
