I Forum Ekonomiczne Unia Europejska - Chiny

On 12-13 April 2010 was held in Cracow and the European Union - China Economic Forum. The Forum was organized by the Institute of Chinese and the National Chamber of Commerce Promotion Centre, in collaboration with the European Parliament, Malopolska Region and the Asia Pacific CEO Association in China. 

The main objectives of the meeting were primarily to enable the establishment of business contacts for the Polish and Chinese companies, exchange experiences and deepen mutual understanding in the areas of economic and political. The conference discussed issues related to mutual trade relations and promoting joint actions to counteract the crisis. 

Forum has provided experts for the economy, politics and science as a common platform to exchange experiences and to deepen the reflection on the processes taking place in the modern world. 

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and European Union are building relationships based on mutual understanding and cooperation. Over the past 30 years the center of the world economy evolves in the direction of China. This fact is not disputed and Europe gives the word. This reflects the multi-dimensional structures of European co-operation with China in such fields as trade, energy, climate change and agricultural sector. Although the global economic crisis has changed the map of the world, China and the European Union to strengthen mutual cooperation. Economic Forum, the European Union-China was held two weeks before the start of the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai.
